Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1/Part 2

Agreed. It'll make a nice movie marathon, tehe. Speaking of which, me and some friends are gonna watch all six movies sometime in these coming holidays. That'll be pretty fun.

Harry talking to Xenophilius? Although, thinking about it, that guy actually looks a lot like Ollivander. But I dunno.

It'll probably be closer to 5 hours actually. Each of the last Harry Potter films has been right around 2 and a half hours long, so each part should be around that as well.

Yeah MM they probably will be, I don't think they would have split it into 2 parts if each part wasn't 2 1/2 hours.

I'm getting the feeling that the split will come just after Harry says Voldemort's name, and the snatchers come. It's a little after we find out what the Deathly Hallows are, and it's a bit past the halfway point of the book... and as we all know, battle scenes in movies are always way longer than 400 pages, yet they wormed four hours into that one (the extended cut is four hours long).

Makes sense to me to split the films there. They certainly have enough material in the second half of the book to make a two hour film, if not a two and a half hour one.

I'm gonna make a really epic, ten minute (ish) trailer for the entire Harry Potter series. This means that I'm gonna have to rip all six films to my computer individually, which is gonna take about six and a half hours... nevertheless, hopefully, if I get it right, it'll be really cool. We'll see.

The idea is that it spans the entire series up to the sixth film, and gives most of the plot details until the sixth film, where it will have a kind of "what will happen next" cliffhanger. So most of the trailer will have spoilers from the first five films, and the sixth will be similar to the current promotional trailers for it. Either that, or I give away spoilers of the sixth film, and then use the DH teaser as the ending, but I don't think that'd work well.
