The NASCAR cars look sweet! I wonder if they are characters, or just suped up cars. With the guns and all, it's hard to tell.

I know it! I didn't think that I would get too excited for the third movie, but really I am!

So true, FS.

My gripe of the morning is if you're marketing the movie as a "3-D movie", then make it look and feel like a 3-D movie. Otherwise, the powers that be are charging an arm and a leg for those silly glasses when in fact there are no 3-D effects.

I hear ya. The last 3-D movie that I went to was Toy Story 3. I really didn't see any special 3-D effects that made me say "wow". Actually, we got to keep the glasses, so that was cool.

Avatar was different. That movie was cool to see in 3-D. The special effects were great.

I can see a movie like Transformers 3 to have great 3-D special effects because it's an action movie, which naturally lends itself to that.

Jesus the military tech gets better and explosions get bigger. One of the last pictures has an M2 browning .50 cal (a Fu jingo big bullet) machine gun so we may see more bullet holes the size of Hong Kong.

Ok, I thought that was Patrick Dempsey. Nice find. I just hope this one is better than the last one. I loved the first Transformers but the second one kinda sucked. So do we really need a third one? I'm sure I'll go see it in the theater but I'm just hoping it's better than the last one.

lol. The initial word when the first movie came out was that there would be six movies! I have no clue whether that was just a rumor (most likely), but I think that with this type of movie, multiple sequels really do work. Think of it as a cartoon, but in CGI...

Yeah I guessed they switched to 3. TF3 ends it all and there will be no TF4 unless its a reboot according to Micheal Bay. I'm just wondering what he's gonna do if TF3 just explodes in the Box Office and he wants to do TF4 and he can't because he just ended the entire thing.

There's always something that you can do with a storyline, unless all the robots die in the end. Plus, maybe Bay walks away but someone else picks it up?

Very true. Apparently TF3 has a real "Killer ending" so I just hope all the robots don't die in the end.

I guess depending on the quality of the film, maybe a fourth would suffice. But I'm perfectly fine with just three movies.

Don't want these to turn into something like the Saw movies, after all.

Same here. But with the Saw movies, there isn't much of a plot, and it tends to be the same thing over and over. I can see there being some good (or better) storylines for Transformers and stringing it out to 6 movies.

Either way, I would be just fine with 3 as well.
